JOB DETAILS As a valued member of the Telemetry (Tele) RN team, you will care for patients with a wide range of conditions including complex cases. This unit constantly monitors blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen level and cardiac electrical activity of patients on the unit, utilizing specialized equipment. RN's will mainly care for patients recovering from heart conditions or cardiac surgery. JOB DETAILS ER RN’s treat patients in emergency situations where they are experiencing trauma or injury. They quickly recognize life-threatening problems and are trained to help solve them on the spot. ER RN’s treat a variety of conditions from sore throats to heart attacks for patients of all ages and backgrounds. They will stabilize patients experiencing trauma and help minimize pain. ER RN’s work in hospital emergency rooms and departments (ER and ED), ambulances, helicopters, urgent care centers, sports arenas, and more. ER’s and hospitals are given a Trauma Rating I-III based upon the kinds of resources available in a trauma center, and the number of patients admitted yearly. Level I is the highest (capable of providing total care for every aspect of injury) and Level III (Level-3) being the lowest. 

JOB DETAILS Ratios: varies – 1:4 and stretches to 1:6, census varies with hospital census from max 12 to max 18 Pulmonary/ Neuro unit In addition to Pulmonary/Stroke patients, we get generally neurology: TIAs, seizures, migraines, altered mental status. We also house the hospitals Acute Withdrawal Management Program so we have patients going through alcohol or opioid withdrawal. Soon we will be housing the incarcerated patients. The rest of the beds are filled with general medical patients.
