Job Summary

• Employment Type: Per Diem, Travel or Contract
• Profession: Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN / LVN)
• Shifts: Day Shift, Evening, NOC (Nights), Weekends (10hrs x 4 days; 8hrs x 5 days; 12hrs x 3 days)

Job Credentials:

1. Minimum 1 Year experience as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN / LVN)
2. Active and unencumbered Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN / LVN) License
3. Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
4. CPR/BLS Certification
5. Proof of Negative TB Test (PPD Test, QuantiFERON-Gold blood test, or Chest X-ray)
6. Proof of continuing education
7. Reliable transportation
8. Clear criminal background check and drug screening

Job Requirements:

1. Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the physician's plan of care and follow the nursing care plan for each patient.
2. Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change.
3. Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
4. Assist the physician in complex nursing situations.
5. Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care.
6. Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition.
7. Functions as a resource person and mentor to peers and subordinates to maintain professional nursing standards.
8. Acts on patients, resident’s behalf to assure patient rights and wellness
