Description
The primary objective of this full-time position is to perform the day-to-day ministerial and administrative duties relating to the administration, planning, management, evaluation, direction, and organization of the Hospital District and all of its departments and affiliates. The Chief Executive Officer shall be the Board’s direct representative in the management of the Hospital. He/she shall be given the necessary authority and be held responsible for the administration of the Hospital District’s facilities and programs in all its activities and departments, subject only to such policies as may be adopted and such orders as may be issued by the Board or by any committees to which it has delegated power for such action. The Incumbent shall act as a “duly authorized representative” of the Board in all matters in which the Board has not formally designated some other person for the specific purpose to so act.
Requirements
Master's degree in finance or hospital administration, with five years experience or BA/BS in healthcare services, hospital administration, business administration, finance, or a closely related field with ten years experience.
Five years of Critical Access Hospital experience at the Leadership level and knowledge of financials and Health Care Reimbursements.
Licensure as a hospital administrator if required under Minnesota law; Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Licensed Assisted Living Director in the State of Minnesota is also desirable.
