Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required. Advanced degree in nursing or healthcare administration preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan required.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive nursing experience in acute care settings, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Certification in Nurse Executive, Advanced (NEA-BC) or similar certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of acute care nursing practices, regulations, and standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction for the nursing department in the acute care setting. Develop and implement innovative nursing strategies to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
• Team Management: Oversee and mentor nursing staff, ensuring their continuous professional development, adherence to best practices, and delivery of compassionate patient care. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Quality Improvement: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate evidence-based nursing initiatives within the overall healthcare delivery system. Monitor and improve quality metrics related to nursing care in the acute care setting.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, nursing standards, and ethical practices within the acute care environment. Stay current with industry best practices and regulations.
• Patient-Centered Care: Foster a patient-centered approach to care, ensuring that the needs and preferences of patients and their families are met with compassion and empathy.
• Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong partnerships with community healthcare resources to enhance patient care, support after discharge, and community outreach initiatives.

Salary: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
