Overview:
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Executive Director and Associate Chief Nursing Officer, PCS Ambulatory provides clinical leadership, strategic planning, and direction for Specialty clinics, ambulatory care centers, ambulatory clinical float pool, ambulatory care coordination, operational and clinical efficiency, and process improvement, in collaboration with ambulatory medical and administrative staff. Develops policies, procedures, and programs to ensure high-quality patient safety and effective use of resources that align with the mission and vision of the organization. Directs goals and objectives for the department(s) and projects/programs assigned in collaboration with the medical, clinical, and administrative leadership teams to ensure standards of professional practice, regulatory requirements, continuous performance improvement initiatives, financial accountability, and responsibility are optimized and in compliance. Collaborates with leaders and directs improvements in employee engagement, well-being, and patient family experience. Manages Magnet requirements in the ambulatory setting as well as partners in driving quality and patient safety.
