MHealth Fairview Health Services is looking for an RN to join the Med/Surg team on 7B! This position is 0.8 FTE (64 hours per two weeks), 8 hour shifts on the DAY/NIGHT shift with an every other weekend rotation.

The starting base rate of pay for the position is $39.70. Candidates with experience or higher degree may be brought in at a higher rate of pay.

• $2.00 extra per hour weekend shift differential

About 7B:

• Adult patients with complex medical/surgical conditions which require close observation, monitoring and interventions, teaching and discharge planning. Some conditions include: Adult CF, Bariatric Surgery, GI surgery, thoracic surgery, urology, trauma and general medicine.
• Bed Capacity: 30
• Cares for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit and performs advanced monitoring using current technology.
• Manages complex medication and infusion therapies.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
