About this unit:

• Fast paced outpatient Oncology clinic
• Monday-Friday, no weekends 8:00am-4:30pm
• Lot's of triage and working closely with physicians
• We take care of complex oncology patients in a supportive environment that fosters teamwork.
• Patient Population is often recurring, which in turn we build relationships with them and their families.
• Great leadership and support
• Opportunity to learn infusion once established and trained

Responsibilities:

• The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Menorah Medical Center.
• The Registered Nurse in this department provides care for adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree.
• Must hold a current license from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
• BLS Required. Chemo Biotherapy certification preferred
• 3 years of Oncology Experience preferred

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• ONS Chemo / Biotherapy Fundamentals Provider, or ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Provider must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
