We are currently recruiting a *Board-Certified Physician with an active Virginia medical and DEA licenses for Medical Director position in a Skilled Nursing Facility. *

In this role, as the Medical Director, responsibilities include:

* Manage new Admissions
* Take care of approximately 10-15 patients per day including: managing new admissions, daily rounding and completing notes based on agreed schedule with facility partners and patient needs
* Attend quality assurance and policy review meetings on a regular basis
* Oversee and support ongoing continuing education and in-servicing of staff
* Serve as clinical leader who helps ensure that exceptional patient care is delivered by fostering positive collaboration among care teams through open communication

*Qualifications*

* MD/DO degree from accredited medical school
* Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
* Active Virginia medical license and DEA license in good standing
* Proficiency with EMR
* Compassionate, Intelligent, Motivated, Team Player
* Prefer local hospital affiliations
