We are seeking an experienced Nurse, interested in working in a high acuity Progressive Care Unit, to join our Solid Organ Transplant/Complex Surgical department! We are a highly functioning and compassionate team with a large emphasis on teamwork, and we are seeking a likeminded addition who understands the importance of providing quality patient care to a special patient population. As a Registered Nurse on the Solid Organ Transplant/Complex Surgical PCU, you will be joining a team of professionals who are dedicated to deliver excellent care to our patients. You will enable patients to reach their goals through an individualized plan of care based on their personal needs, and work alongside some of the most highly skilled and specialized providers in the Rocky Mountain region who are dedicated to your growth!
What you will do in this role:
·Responsible for the delivery of nursing care to a variety of intermediate level of care patients, including but not limited to, Solid Organ Transplant patients.
·Serve as primary nurse and/or care coordinator, leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, with the help of our multidisciplinary team.
·Oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
No prior experience with Transplant necessary- just an eagerness to learn! Must be willing to work with high acuity patients with varied diagnoses in a fast-paced environment.
*This position will rotate shifts from days to nights on a monthly schedule*
