Job Description

Maxim Healthcare has a male pediatric/teen client with a G-tube needing skilled PDN care at home. This family is requesting support from an RN or LPN/LVN on weekdays after school, ideally from 2p-8p Monday-Friday, but they are open to as little as 2 days a week for 4-5 hours as to ensure they can receive care. They are located in Monument, CO. With your help, this family can receive the coverage needed to meet their home health goals of no hospitalizations and no reinfections.

Job Requirements

Skilled Responsibilities

  • Provides care that is safe, ethical, patient- and family-centered, and evidence-based
  • Assumes responsibility and accountability for effectively managing nursing support of individual patients
  • Assist or perform procedures (G-tube and Trach management, total care)
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation using Maxim Care Mobile App
  • Assist with management of urgent or emergent patient care situations and medical emergencies
  • Work independently within their scope of practice to achieve clinical outcomes
  • Maintain a level of professional development through continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and sharing of knowledge
  • Ability to float between multiple visits, as needed
  • Provides a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic patient environment.

Maxim Perks

  • Pay rate of $24-$38 per hour***

Qualifications Needed to Start

  • Current state certification as an RN or Compact
  • Current BLS certification
  • Record of a previous TB test or X-Ray
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • History of Covid-19 vaccination or exemption
