Job Description


The Newton Center is Southern Maine Health Care’s 74 bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility. Located in Sanford, ME we are seeking LPN candidates to fill our current full time, part time and per diem- openings.

Schedules are typically 8-hour shifts, but there may be flexibility if you are interested in working 10 or 12-hour shifts. Come join us and enjoy a family oriented atmosphere where colleagues work as a team and you can do your best work.  

  • Position Summary
    • Under the general direction of the Registered Nurse, the LPN provides nursing care, medication administration and as needed, accepts charge nurse responsibilities.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing preferred.
    • License/Certifications: Current LPN License required. BLS certification required.
    • Experience: N/A
