St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a Part Time RN (0.8 FTE) to join our Interventional Radiology team.
The RN will assist in pre-admission history and physical compliance, pre-procedure calls to patients to identify special needs or risks, provide needed information, and ensure patient understanding of preparation and follow-up. This position prepares and evaluates patient teaching materials, ensures that the patient’s rights are respected and protected, acts as a representative to institutional/divisional/departmental committees.
The RN will also participates in administering medications during various IR procedures when required including agents for sedation/analgesia and monitors the effects of vasoactive medications and administers advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) medications during emergencies.
