Craig Hospital Awards & Recognition
Craig Hospital is both a Spinal Cord Injury and Traumatic Brain Injury Model System Center as designated by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). Craig has been ranked among the Top Ten Rehabilitation Hospitals in the nation for 33 consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report since the rankings began in 1990. In 2020, Craig was a recipient of the NDNQI® Award for Outstanding Nursing Quality®. Craig has also been granted recognition as a Magnet-designated organization four consecutive times (2005, 2010, 2015, 2020) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Spinal Cord Rehabilitation
Spinal cord injury treatment and rehabilitation at Craig focuses on aggressively working with patients physically and psychologically, so that in a short period of time patients can maximize their neurological recovery and general health.
Brain Injury Rehabilitation
The goal of Craig’s extensive system of care for patients with brain injury – from the initial days after injury through inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient treatment and long-term follow-up — is to help them return home as independent and prepared for the future as possible.
