Caring for Our Communities

Giving back to the communities we serve is an important part of our mission.

Offering ongoing patient education and community health events, we help improve the overall health of our neighbors. We are proud to offer a variety of classes with information on healthy eating, weight management, childbirth, healthy beginnings and infant feeding, and more.

East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital has provided annual scholarships to young residents with medical aspirations for nearly 20 years.

Special scholarships are also offered to graduating local high school students (Roosevelt High School, Garfield High School, and Montebello High School), as well as to East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital employees and their children.

Funds are provided by East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital and community donors.
