Shasta Regional Medical Center Nationally Recognized with an ‘A’ Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade!
We are honored to announce that Shasta Regional Medical Center has received an “A” grade in the Fall 2021 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, a national distinction recognizing our achievements in protecting patients from errors, injuries, accidents and infections.
Shasta Regional Medical Center is the only hospital in the area to be awarded the Grade ‘A’ of all the hospitals rated in the North State.

Shasta Regional Medical Center is a 226-bed acute care hospital offering inpatient, outpatient and wellness services. It is nationally recognized and accredited by the Joint Commission; offering a diverse range of medical services from Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, General/Specialty Surgery, Cardiovascular Service, Neurosciences and Orthopedic as well as Behavioral Health Services. Our outpatient support services includes a Cardiac Rehabilitation Center, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Wound Care Center.
Shasta Regional Medical Center is honored to be Ranked as a 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospital by IBM Watson Health, we achieved this recognition based on performance metric of higher patients survivor rates, lower complications, reduced readmission rates, patient satisfaction scores and other quality measure. In addition we have earned an Award of Excellence from Heathgrades for Patient Safety.
